Meet Minesh Patel
I relocated to Calgary 22 years ago with my family as first-generation immigrants, facing the challenges of establishing ourselves in a new country. These experiences instilled invaluable life lessons, profoundly influencing my career path and core beliefs.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree and have dedicated the past 17 years to serving Calgary Transit. I have had the privilege of working as a steward and participating in various committees for the local transit union.
What I AM STANDING FOR
There are many issues facing our community, but as your representative, I have identified several key priorities that I believe require immediate attention.

AXE CARBON TAX
costly carbon tax is driving up the price of gas, groceries, and home heating during a cost-of-living crisis.

FIX THE BUDGET
Struggling families can’t afford higher taxes and more inflationary spending that drives up the cost of everything and keeps interest rates high.

STRONG COMMUNITY VOICE
By being accessible, by understanding what the concerns are, and by being in government you are able to move forward on the things that helps

BUILD MORE HOUSES
We must also explore new, innovate, and unique ways to build more homes for Canadians

BUILD RESILIENT FUTURE
we must not only grow the economy, but diversify it as well. We can do this by supporting new and exciting industries like film, technology, petrochemicals, hydrogen, manufacturing, and more.
